“The words of the wise are as goads, and as
nails fastened by the masters of assemblies,
which are given from one Shepherd.”
I am beginning a series of posts here that I am placing into the category, “Keeping It Short & Sweet.” They will be simple thoughts; a verse, a quote, or some other idea that I find helpful, instructive and powerful. This will be a good challenge for me because I tend to be overly thorough in my explanations.
Have you heard of the 5 B’s of public speaking? Be Brief Brother Be Brief. This is my attempt to be brief with my posts here on my website. Anything larger than 300 words is too much for the KISS series. Often what we do not say speaks louder than what we do. And being brief but precise in an explanation often does more than trying to communicate every angle of a thought.
My hope is that short posts will enable you to check in, communicate back, and stay connected without it taxing your time. I hope that you’ll join me for this series of potent, powerful, encouraging, and enlightening posts of things that I find during my journey. They will most likely just be things that I learn as we walk along this rotating globe together. If you want – subscribe above and I will send you the updates.
If you find something for me to post pass it along.
Until next time — be well. Kind regards always.
“So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith,
and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil,
saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails,
that it should not be moved.” Isaiah 41:7
